The wind speeds will remain around 10 knots for the next several days, with a slightly decreased chance of rain and a slightly more steady NNW'ly wind direction; however, for Friday and Saturday there may be heavy rain showers and some stronger wind gusts.
TODAY: There will not be any significant changes in the weather. The winds will be N'ly to start the day, backing slightly to NNW'ly midday. The wind speeds will stay below 10 knots, and may drop to a midday lull of around 5 knots. Otherwise, the temperatures will reach a high in the low 30s C, and there is a slightly lower than usual risk for showers.
WEDNESDAY: The risk of showers and squalls will remain low, with little change in the wind speed or direction. If anything there may be slightly more backing through the day, with the winds ranging from NNW to NW'ly. Like Tuesday, the strongest winds should be around 10 knots and you may see a midday lull. As always, it will remain humid with a high in the low 30s C.
THURSDAY: Wind speeds will remain around 10 knots on Thursday, but the chance of showers will increase. As a result, you may see some local rain squalls develop with stronger gusts (to the mid teens). Otherwise, you can expect the typical backing trend through the day, with the winds oscillating from NNW to WNW.
FRIDAY: For now it looks like an overcast day, with a high likelihood of rain squalls or thunderstorms. You may see a slight increase in the overall wind speeds, and you should watch for gusts to the high teens in any squalls. Otherwise the backing trend will continue with the winds shifting left from NW'ly to W'ly through the day.
SATURDAY: Saturday will see continued overcast and a high likelihood of heavy rain. For now it looks like the heaviest rains will be early in the morning tapering off slightly through the day. As a result, look for the strongest winds in the morning, with gusts to the high teens. Through the day the winds will drop to the low teens, oscillating around W'ly with a slight backing trend for the afternoon.
